Lithuania Business College (LBC) celebrated its 25th anniversary. For a young person, 25 is a short period of life. For a higher school, this is an achievement, because it was necessary to survive in the conditions of great competition, mistrust, and establishment. I am glad that LBC has successfully and honorably withstood all the tests: the institution has international accreditation, all 12 study programs have been accredited, student admission has stabilized, high positions in rankings have developed, international student and teacher mobility has developed, and business cooperation has been successful. We have done and are doing a lot, and the motto of the 25th anniversary is 25 good works for society. From the beginning of the activity, all the events that took place in LBC can be divided into 5 most important stages. 1994 In the heat of summer, the permission of the Education Department of Klaipėda City Municipality to provide educational services and train secretaries-rapporteurs was obtained.

Lithuania Business College is a modern higher education institution that seeks to be open to the public, integrates into the Lithuanian and European education system, focuses its activities on the needs of Klaipeda and Vilnius regions, responds operatively and flexibly to labor market changes and seeks to meet societal needs.
Based on feedback from consumers, we improve our performance and services to meet the ever-increasing needs of our users. We periodically evaluate and improve studies, research and development, and other services provided by the College. At the College, we cultivate a culture of quality and we firmly believe that quality depends on the achievement and results of each of our studies – quality is the responsibility of each of us.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
1. Persons only with a diploma of secondary education/or relevant can apply for studies at Lithuania Business College (LBC). A diploma of secondary education gained in an international country must be certificated by Apostille by the Consulate. The studies are open to any age group.
2. LBC provides full-time studies for international students in English and Russian languages.
3. Student must pass the English language verification procedure: first of all provide an English language proficiency certificate (copy), his/her English language skills are tested at the embassy by submitting documents during the interview, continue to pass the English language proficiency test with a representative from the admissions committee of LBC during a distance interview, and the student’s English language skills are tested by a foreign language English teacher by completing a motivation letter for the student. The final student's English language proficiency has to be none less than level B.

The Tourism and Entertainment Business Industry study program aims to train qualified professionals capable of researching, and analyzing the tourism and entertainment business environment adapting to the changing business environment, and modern labor market requirements, and establishing and managing tourism, entertainment, and wellness services companies, making innovative decisions, increasing competitive advantage, and developing and organizing targeted service packages.
The study program focuses not only on the development of professional special competencies but also on the broad development of key competencies, values, responding to the current tourism and entertainment sector specialist, managerial competencies, based on knowledge transfer and analysis, critical assessment, problem-solving, the application of innovative measures.

Career opportunities: Graduates of this program can work as specialists in tourism information centers, organizers and guides of excursions and educational programs in museums, guides, managers – consultants in travel agencies, managers in accommodation and catering establishments, event organizers – companies organizing events, leisure and entertainment centers, accommodation, spas, and wellness centers, as well as enterprising and entrepreneurial graduates who can set up and run their businesses.
Opportunities for further studies: Graduates can apply for credit transfer if they want to study according to university undergraduate study programs.
