The WSB University in Chorzów is more than 20 years old now! Our history began in 1998 with the launch of our first courses in finance and banking. Over the years, we have been working hard and continued to expand and refine our range of educational products. We have grown strong and are today seen among the country’s top private institutions of higher learning, with lots of distinctions, accreditations, and certificates that others do not get. We deliver all kinds of degree programs, a rich variety of training courses, and even MBA programs. Our greatest pride is, however, the thousands of alumni who are doing so well in the tough job market. Our University has two comfortable buildings, both perfectly adapted to students’ needs. One of them is situated at 29 Sportowa Street in Chorzów, and the other at 7 Księdza Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego Street in Katowice. Our state-of-the-art facilities include modern lecture halls, dozens of multimedia-equipped classrooms, and computer labs.

change of category is another step in the development of our universities, it
expresses our broad, universal profile of education and academic activity. We were granted the right to use the word
“Uniwersytet” in our Polish name due to the high evaluation results of the
WSB-DSW Universities Research Federation of which we are a member.
We are a university. We prioritise both the
practicality of the knowledge and skills that we teach and cooperation with the
public. The student and their needs are of paramount importance to us.
